Wood-fired Moon Jar

Fired on its side in a train kiln on shells, the glaze dripped enough to form a little "nose" for this pot. This was thrown with WSO clay and fired to about cone 12-13.

Every wood-fired piece is unique due to its positioning in the kiln and the other pieces near it.
