Wood-fired Moon Jar

This was thrown with Everest Porcelain, a cone 10 clay, and fired in a train kiln to about cone 12-13. This was unglazed when it went into the kiln, and the ash helped form these beautiful crystals during the cooling.

Every wood-fired piece is unique due to its positioning in the kiln and the other pieces near it.
